How do i change the cv boot on a honda civic aerodeck. all off apart from separating cv joint how do i do it?

you cut the metal clamps with a grinder or sidecutter, slide the boot down the axle, put the axle side in a bench vise, and pound the hub side portion of joint off of the axle, slide the boot off, slide the new boot on, change the retaining clip provided in the kit, pound joint back on, insert grease that was supplied in the kit, slide the boot on, install the clamps, and throw the axle back in the car.....
