How hard is it to change the right CV joint on a 2003 GMC Yukon?

It clicks and hammers when turned to the left while the wheel is turning, the harder the turn, the louder the rotational frequency noise.|||If you are talking about doing it yourself, a CV joint is pretty involved. I%26#039;ve never done it, but I am pretty sure you have to disassemble all the suspension on that side, and the wheel bearings, hubs, etc.

Really a professional job I think, unless you are pretty confident in your skills. Check out a Haynes or other repair manual and you can flip through it and see what%26#039;s up.
