I'm changing my cv joint on the passengerside on my camry do i need to change the one on the driverside also?

no. your probably thinking of struts or shocks. Cv joints dont need to be instaled in pairs.|||No, just make sure you get the right part. They can be replaced separately, as needed.|||NOPE|||No, not in my opinion.|||nope....but do make sure u get your front end aligned or else you will be replacing the same cv joint again or the driver side one.....|||Not unless it is bad also.|||No but as long as you%26#039;re down there might as well, if you decide to change the other side just make sure you don%26#039;t remove both CV axles at the same time. There is a little gear inside that will fall down into your transmission if you remove both of them at the same time. Big time headache. Good luck
