I need a list of tools (socket size) etc. to change a CV Joint shaft on a 99 Passat V6 5 speed?

Last car I did was a honda accord. It needed a large socket like 22 MM but I dont remember the size or where I got it. But I bet the VW needs the same or close.|||a lot of foreign %26amp; domesticate cars r going metric-a good 6pt %26amp;12 pt-100 piece should take care of you
