In my 2003 Camry, whenever I accelerate or drive at higher speeds, the steering wheel and the entire car vibrates. While changing the brake rotors to try and fix the problem, I noticed that the cv joint was cracked and that there was lubrication from inside it all around the axle. Could this be the cause of the vibration?

try a tire balance..that is the cause of most highway speed vibration

definitely it could be. you need to get it replaced before it really messes up your tires and alignment.
