How can you change the cv joints on a 94 nissan altima?

I need to change the front 2 because they make a clicking sound whe I turn my front 2 wheels

Typically you don't change the joint's themselves but simply replace the entire shaft with a rebuilt one.

No, it is not a %26quot;simple%26quot; job...if you want to tackle it yourself, you need to buy a Haynes manual first, and follow the instructions carefully...you will also need some right size wrenches/sockets, as different vehicles use different size axle nuts for one...
not a difficult job but you do better to bring it to a shop-you need a lift and air tools and a big pry bar
Its not as hard as some might think. You will need a 34mm.or a 36mm socket to remove the axle nut. Then you take the key and nut off the lower ball joint.(17mm socket),separate the ball joint.(If that way is too difficult, then remove the 2 nuts and bolts that hold on the lower half of the strut.(17mm. socket) Slide the axle out of the spindle. Then take a pry bar and put it between the inner joint and the transmission, give a couple of quick jerks, and the axle will come out. Reverse procedure for assembly.
u have to remove the trans fluid the break apart thr lower ball joint and then u pull it out gently do the same for the otherside when u put in the new ones be very gentle with them cause they are filled with a sealed oil filedd boot and can breake pres or tap gently to get it in slowly then reverse the whole process gl and email with any question u might have
This is not an easy job. It will require breaking loose the axle nut which will be very tight and probably frozen. A shop might break it loose for you but if not you will want something like a 1” drive air hammer. The old 4’ breaker bar would do it too but be sure to break it loose before jacking up the car because even a properly supported vehicle can fall off the jack stands with that kind of torque. If you haven’t done work like this I would take it to a shop. If you want to think about it, look at the procedure in a manual, and then decide. I am about to perform this job on my Honda.
